The exterior of the house looks exactly the way it did in 1930. It has been recreated according to the original sketches & drawings & built anew using modern materials & technologies.

Inner layout & constructions were changed as new times require new solutions. It’s a brick house with the roof, downspouts & drain elements made from copper. There’s electric heating inside the pipes and gutters defending them from winter frost. The area around the house is paved with granite cobblestones, as concrete didn’t exist in 30s.

There are 3 terraces in the house. All equipped with marquises adjustable by remote control. The main terrace on the ground floor has infrared heating, so the owners can enjoy the nature even during cold evenings.

Windows-doors of the terraces can be closed with dense metal shutters adjustable by remote control. They perform light-isolating & security function – prevent the possibility of breaking & entering from the terraces. Huge sliding windows-doors, that open the whole wall, were made in Germany. It is complicated & expensive construction, but the borderless garden view in bedrooms is worth it.

The general interior style of the house is art deco with a hint of classics in the private second floor’s area & with an oriental accent in the underground SPA area. The most part of the authentic 30s furniture was bought at auctions in France. It’s very organically combined with the new one, stylized in that époque style & made by the artist’s sketches in German workshops.

The following, traditional for art deco, materials were used in furniture and interior objects production – wood: palisander, macassar, walnut as well as stingray skin. Stained glass of the wardrobe was made upon special request in Italy on Murano glass factory. All the lighting of the first floor: chandeliers, bra, table lamps, floor lamps were bought in France. Even the doors handles are made on request in the general style.

Floor coverings meet certain space functionality: tiles in the SPA zone, parquet on the first floor, special noise absorbing carpeting on the staircase & in the private zone on the second floor. Second floor walls & staircase area walls are decorated with luxurious Venetian plastering.

The ceiling height is: 3,2 m on the first floor & 3 m – on the second. Doors respectively 2,4 & 2,2 meters high were specially produced for this house. All the doors & wardrobe furniture were made from solid wood.

The garden deserves special attention. It’s just 6 years old, but many of the trees and shrubs were purchased already grown, so it looks much older. The garden was cultivated by landscape designer & is being daily maintained by the gardener. Due to a wise planning the flowering season of different species in warmer months almost doesn’t stop. Various bronze garden sculptures of 30s are complementing the garden’s design. These art objects as well as the bronze part of an acting fountain were bought in France. The granite basement of the fountain was made by a local artist.
